Civica has been at the forefront of ANPR for some years. Whether overt or covert, these systems are widely used in static, portable and in-vehicle operations to provide rapid response and improved detection. The company is also working to implement an ANPR data centre linked to new systems installed in petrol stations, retail centres, hospitals and other commercial premises. Vehicle Enquiry Manager software supports a range of Civica and third-party ANPR solutions in over half of the UK’s Police Forces and many other organisations.
