Comino has confirmed its position as a leading supplier of Electronic Document Management (EDM) and Workflow solutions, with a third of London’s Borough Councils now confirmed on its books. The specialist IT provider has 11 of the City’s Local Authorities as customers and is targeting other London Boroughs that are keen to achieve efficiency savings and comply with the e-Government agenda.
Used by 141 Local Authorities across the UK, Comino’s solutions help local authorities to meet the E-Government Agenda and the DWP’s Performance Standards by centralising storage and electronically scanning, filing and managing council paperwork.
Comino’s EDM and workflow system has been implemented at London Borough (LB) of Bexley in its Trading Standards, Environmental Services and Highways and Parks departments. The product is enhanced by the use of Comino’s Contact Manager application, which helps the Authority to deal with most customer enquiries at the first point of contact and improve service delivery.
Other Local Authorities in the City using Comino solutions include the London Boroughs of Hillingdon and Haringey.
